Aide-De-Camp (ADC) is a configuration management tool that provideschange and version control of source code and non-text fields in complexsoftware development environments. ADC also supports build management,reporting, and problem tracking.ADC stores files in a database. Changes are saved in logical objectscalled change sets--e.g. a bug fix that changes several files is onechange set. The database also stores attributed (hello.c is "C" code)and relationships (hell.c "contains" main).Developers can manage projects on multiple platforms, establishbaselines, create branches, and merge code from different developmentpaths (with conflict detection). They can retrieve any version of theirsoftware, identify the files altered by a change set, and access commonfiles simultaneously.ADC includes a pre-defined, modifiable process; a graphical userinterface; and the Lakota scripting language.
